The name “Beloved” is rooted in Scripture.

Paul writes in Ephesians 1:6 (KJV):

“To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.”

To be beloved means:

• You are accepted

• You are chosen

• You are valued

• You belong to the Kingdom

• You are part of God’s eternal family

We also use “Beloved” as a way of greeting and acknowledging one another — an endearing expression of identity and unity. When God calls us His Beloved, He is reminding us that:

We are not rejected.

We are not abandoned.

We are His.**
